Ademola Lookman has heaped praise on Romelu Lukaku and Yannick Bolasie for helping him settle into life at Everton.
The 19-year-old arrived at Goodison Park in January and enjoyed a goalscoring debut in a 4-0 hammering of Manchester City.
The English wonderkid has now hailed the influence of his teammates and has said that they have given him some creative advice at the beginning his Merseyside career – urging him to play without fear and express himself.
“Romelu [Lukaku] and Yannick [Bolasie] have really helped me to settle in,” Lookman said to FourFourTwo.
“They have both told me to not be afraid and to keep expressing myself on the pitch – that’s what got me here. I shouldn’t stop doing it just because I’m at a different level now.

“I sat down in the dressing room after the first training session thinking, ‘This is what I want’. Now I’m here, I’ve got to keep working hard.”
Ronald Koeman signed Lookman for a fee of £7.5million and has almost instantly made him one of the key players in his side.
With Bolasie out injured until the end of the season, a winger slot has been freed up to allow Lookman to slide straight into the starting line-up of the club’s last three Premier League matches.
The England Under-20 international has made six appearances for Everton so far and is yet to taste defeat since arriving on Merseyside.
The left-winger, who can also play on the right or behind a striker, scored seven goals for the Addicks in the first half of the season in 25 games in all competitions.
He will he hoping to add to his solitary goal for the Toffees when they face a difficult trip to Tottenham on Sunday before an important home game against West Bromwich Albion the following week – which could see the club drop out of a potential Europa League place.
