Everton are 'doomed' after Frank Lampard update via Sky - pundit
Everton are “doomed” after moving to within one point of the Premier League relegation places.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after another Toffees’ loss.
Everton lost 3-2 to fellow strugglers Burnley on Wednesday (6 April), leaving the club one point off the relegation zone ahead of the weekend of 9 April’s fixtures.
Frank Lampard is under pressure but, as updated by Sky Sports on Friday (8 April) Everton have no plans to sack their manager.
Lampard’s side face a difficult run-in and Kenny claims the club is destined for relegation.
“Everton look doomed, I’m not going to lie,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They have to pull a rabbit out of the hat now. They have Man United United at home, Leicester at home, Liverpool away, Chelsea away then Arsenal away on the last day.
“Honestly, I fear for them. It’s going to see mental to see Everton in the Championship but I think it’s going to happen.
“Burnley looked decent the other night and they have a decent run-in.
“Everything at that club is negative and I don’t see how they get out of it.
“The big players don’t look up for it. I think they are the favourites to go down out of them and Burnley.”
The Toffees are next in action against Man United on Saturday (9 April).
Burnley face bottom side Norwich City 24 hours later.
