Everton could be forced to complete free agent signing to solve problem position
Everton will be forced into the free transfer market if they get any more injuries at full-back, sources have told Football Insider.
The Toffees are light on both flanks after failing to suitably reinforce during the summer transfer window, with Vitalii Mykolenko’s injury amplyifying the situation.
Jake O’Brien and James Garner are filling in well for Everton currently and have put in a number of good performances despite being out of position.
However, sources say that if David Moyes’ side are hit by more injuries or suspensions, then they may be forced to explore the free transfer options.

Everton face difficult task to continue good form
Everton have had a very solid start to their Premier League campaign, and sit sixth in the table as it stands.
Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish and new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have impressed, helping the Merseyside club to seven points from their opening four games.
However, Everton face Liverpool, Man City, and Tottenham all within their next five Premier League matches, which presents a tough task for Moyes’s side.
They have had a relatively favourable start to the campaign in terms of fixtures, so will need to step up their performance levels once again to continue their good form.
Everton plan Jack Grealish permanent talks
Meanwhile, Everton are reportedly planning to hold talks with Man City over the future of Grealish as plans are already being put in place to make his loan permanent.

That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who claims that Moyes‘ side want to negotiate a cut-price fee for the winger.
Man City and Everton agreed to insert a £50million option to buy in his loan deal, but it is currently considered unlikely for the Toffees to complete a deal at that price.
This comes as Football Insider revealed on 26 August that Grealish will have to take a pay cut to join Everton permanently and is now prepared to do so.
