Everton ready to sack Sean Dyche straight after Wolves match – Keith Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has suggested Sean Dyche will face a battle to keep his job if the club lose at home against Wolves on Wednesday (4 December).
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted the Englishman has “had a very bad start to the season” on Merseyside.
Everton take on Wolves at home on Wednesday after losing 4-0 against Man United just days earlier.
The Toffees can be dumped into the relegation zone if they are defeated by Gary O’Neil’s side.
Dyche’s side face Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City in their next four Premier League games after the clash with Wolves.
Everton manager change ‘almost definite’ if Wolves win, says Wyness
Wyness admitted his future could hinge on the relegation six-pointer at Goodison.
He told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “We’ve had a bad run of form already.
“Dyche has had a very bad start to the season, if we’re going to be honest.
“I thought Sean was the right man to keep us up for the third year in a row.
“Last season, we were the most improved team in the division – if you add back the points deduction.

“That was testament to the work he did.
“But a lot hinges on this Wolves game on Wednesday. If that’s another beating, at home, then I think a manager change is almost definite.”
