Everton could seal Leandro Trossard signing on one condition after source’s reveal – pundit
Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed Brighton will be very reluctant to allow Leandro Trossard to leave for Everton.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa striker suggested the Seagulls would sell the 27-year-old if the “right fee” was offered.
On Monday (22 August), a source told this site that the Toffees have set their sights on Trossard.
Frank Lampard is said to view the Belgium international as a potential replacement for Anthony Gordon who is the subject of interest from Chelsea.
Trossard was thought to have entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Amex Stadium.
However, as quoted by SussexLive (22 August), Graham Potter insisted the winger has more than a year left on his deal.
Agbonlahor has suggested Brighton could be willing to sell Trossard for the right price.
“There’s no chance they’ll want to let him go,” he told Football Insider.
“But Brighton have turned into a team, like Southampton were and still are, if the right amount of money is paid they will sell their players.
“They’ve got that business model of going and getting someone else. If the right fee comes in, I’m sure they wouldn’t want to sell him but if it was the right fee then they would.“

Trossard was in the starting lineup against West Ham on Sunday (21 August).
The forward scored in his side’s 2-0 victory at the London Stadium.
