‘Everton stance revealed amid shock Dusan Vlahovic claim’
Everton have been linked with a shock move to sign Juventus and Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The 25-year-old notched 15 goals and five assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Serie A giants last season.
Meanwhile, Everton previously emerged as surprise contenders for Vlahovic ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Toffees are set for a new-look forward line next season, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to leave Everton when his contract expires.

Vlahovic could snub Everton move
If David Moyes signed Vlahovic, the Juventus man would arrive as an upgrade on Everton’s current first-choice striker, Beto.
However, writing on BBC Sport‘s Live transfer Q&A [17 June, 2pm], Phil McNulty said: “Unless Everton find a guarantee with an experienced operator at a decent price, then I can see them going for a younger player who can develop.
“And would Vlahovic fancy a move to Everton? I’m not so sure.”

Football Insider verdict
Hamza Igamane could be a great Vlahovic alternative for Moyes
As alluded to by McNulty, Vlahovic may not be keen on leaving a Juventus side who will be competing in next season’s Champions League in favour of a move to Everton, who were troubled by the threat of relegation before Moyes’ return.
Dusan Vlahovic stats | Serie A 2024/25 |
Appearances | 29 |
Goals | 10 |
Assists | 4 |
The Serbia international proved his prolific tendencies by scoring 10 goals in 29 Serie A appearances next season, and should be keen to battle for silverware next term, while fighting for trophies seems beyond the Toffees’ capabilities for now.
However, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Everton are weighing up a move for Hamza Igamane, who scored 16 goals across all competitions for Rangers last season.
While there is a gulf in class between the Scottish Premiership and the English Premier League, Igamane has already proven his ability to step up to a new level, as he only moved to the Ibrox giants from Moroccan side FAR Rabat last summer.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Coufal has been tipped to join Everton in a Goodison News exclusive.
