Football Insider verdict:
Everton will certainly need to bolster their squad if they want to break into the top six of the league next season and do need extra firepower in attack. The Toffees need to ensure they keep star man Romelu Lukaku at Goodison Park and then look at giving him some extra support. Traore would be an interesting signing and shouldn’t be overlooked by Everton fans. The 21-year-old is yet to really make a name for himself at Stamford Bridge, but the competition for places is extremely difficult. He has been in fantastic form for Ajax and Vitesse Arnhem during loan spells in recent season, and there is every suggestion he could repeat his form in England. Ronald Koeman is keen to introduce young players to his squad and a move for future star Traore could be a smart piece of business.
