Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has revealed that Kevin Mirallas is set to sign a new deal – and fans on Twitter have provided a mixed reaction to the news.
The club confirmed on their official Twitter account that the 29-year-old is set to put pen to paper on a new “long-term” contract at Goodison Park.
Winger Mirallas has been a regular figure for manager Ronald Koeman this term as he has helped the Toffees into Europe in his debut season.

One fan stated that it was fantastic to see that Mirallas is going to extend his stay at the club as they are now waiting on the futures of Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku.
Another fan believes that Mirallas signing a new contract before the duo shows that the writing is on the wall, particularly, for Barkley.
The attacking duo have been key figures for their team this season but their futures at Goodison Park are in doubt.
Nonetheless, one supporter was clearly annoyed that Mirallas was getting a new contract because he believes he doesn’t even break sweat when on the field of play.
