Fans react to Schneiderlin display in Everton win against Leicester
By Alex Stevens
Morgan Schneiderlin made his Everton comeback in their 4-2 Premier League win against Leicester on Sunday – and fans took to Twitter to hail his display.
The £24million January signing has made a big impact since joining and was sorely missed as Everton dropped five points in their previous two matches against Liverpool and his former club Manchester United.
He was immediately recalled to the starting XI in Sunday’s TV clash against Leicester as Gareth Barry dropped down to the bench.
Schneiderlin lined up alongside Idrissa Gueye and teen sensation Tom Davies in a three-man midfield, which dominated against the champions.
Leicester went 2-1 up after 10 minutes but a Romelu Lukaku double and goals from Davies and Phil Jagielka secured the three points for the hosts.

Everton’s win drew them level on points with Arsenal (54), although Arsene Wenger’s side have three matches in hand and a superior goal difference.
The Toffees are seventh in the league, seven points adrift of Manchester City in fourth.
In other Everton transfer news, the club are close to reaching an agreement to sign a brilliant striker.
