Everton fans cannot wait until the end of the week when it is reportedly expected that the club will announce they have parted ways with much-maligned manager Sam Allardyce.

A report from ESPN FC states that the Blues have scheduled talks with Big Sam for later in the week when the two parties are set to sever ties with one another.

The Toffees faithful have never taken to the 63-year-old since his arrival in November when he steadied what was at the time, a sinking ship.

And even now, after guiding them to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League, that is still deemed not good enough.

Big Sam’s future at Goodison was cast into doubt when the club sent an email to supporters asking them to rate the manager.

From that point onwards, Allardyce’s tenure always looked to be hanging in the balance.

And according to a further report, prior to the club’s final game of the season, players were openly talking about the possibility of Marco Silva taking charge in the dressing room.

It’s looking as though it’s just a matter of time now before the two parties go their separate ways, but one thing is for sure, and that’s the Blues faithful are going to happy going into this summer’s transfer window.
