Everton fans react on Twitter to Lukaku display against Manchester City
By Emma Sanders
Romelu Lukaku was once again on the score-sheet during Everton’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon and fans reacted positively on Twitter.
The Everton striker has now scored six goals in Everton’s first eight Premier League fixtures and is looking very sharp.
The 23 year-old is one of the league’s top goal-scorers, with only Diego Costa having a better record with seven goals and two assists for Chelsea.
Lukaku had one of the best conversion rates in the league and prior to kick-off, averaging a goal every 95 minutes.
The Belgian was tipped to leave Goodison Park in the summer after claiming he was ready to leave Everton in order to challenge himself further.

The former Chelsea striker was signed by Roberto Martinez in July 2014 for £28 million after impressing on loan and he’s been the club’s best player ever since.
Ronald Koeman’s side have now scored 11 goals so far this season but Lukaku’s strike against the Premier League leaders could be the most vital one as they recorded a vital draw at the Etihad.
Here’s a selection of the fans messages on Twitter;
