Everton fans reacted with amusement on Twitter after it was revealed Oumar Niasse will undergo a medical at Hull following speculation over his future.

According to Sky Sports, the Everton striker is having a medical at Hull after a deal for a loan move was agreed between the two clubs earlier this week.

The Guardian stated Hull had agreed terms with Everton to bring Niasse to the club on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Sky Sports News HQ revealed the news on Twitter on Thursday afternoon and fans were happy to hear the unwanted striker is finally closing in on a move away from the club.

There was amusement from supporters regarding the deal which could see Hull pay Niasse’s entire salary of £55,000-a-week despite him making just seven appearances for Everton.

Here is a selection of the messages on Twitter:

Since making a £13.5 million move from Lokomotiv Moscow, Niasse has failed to find the back of the net for Everton and he has spent the entire season so far playing with the Under-23s.

He has performed well with the youngsters though and Hull could be prepared to pay £10million in the summer to seal a permanent deal for the Senegalese international.

In other Everton news, this striker could agree terms with the club.
