Everton beat Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday but despite the result, fans were irate with the performance of one man.
Yannick Bolasie was ridiculed by his own supporters after his display, with many of them bewildered by what the 28-year-old actually offers to the starting XI.
In a goalless opening 45 minutes, the only real opportunity for the Toffees fell to Seamus Coleman who latched onto a Cenk Tosun forced error but pulled his effort wide of goal.
It had looked as though Theo Walcott had given the Blues the lead in the 60th minute but it went down as a Gaetan Bong own goal.
Cenk Tosun was also in the thick of the action and got his name on the scoresheet for the second game running as he fired in off the underside of the bar in the 76th minute.
The win puts the Toffees up to ninth and hot on the heels of Leicester, three points above.
Only time will tell whether Sam Allardyce will choose to go with Bolasie again for the trip to Stoke City next time out.
Here is a selection of Twitter reactions from supporters on the social media platform giving their opinion on the Congo international:
Not a bad half, a lot more promising than recent weeks just need to be a bit braver when attacking anyway enough of the positivity Bolasie is proper shite ✌????

If Bolasie could finish, or even cross, we'd be laughing.

Well at least we played attack minded football that half. Needed to take our chances when we are dominant. Sadly all our best chances fell to Bolasie who cant score, or cross, or beat a man….. pic.twitter.com/uyXzKzgtRh

We've spent some serious money on shit but 30million on Bolasie definitely tops the lot

Wouldn’t bother me if Bolasie never played for us again
