Everton have just landed stunning ‘£60m-a-year’ boost – Keith Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed the club’s new stadium will bring in “£50-60million” of extra revenue annually.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed the new income will help the Toffees remain in the top half financially.
Everton revealed on 8 August that Aramark UK has committed to helping turn the club’s new stadium into “one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe”.
The Merseysiders’ state-of-the-art new ground is due to open next year for test events ahead of the official opening for the 2025-26 season.
It is claimed more than 1,200 new roles will be created by Aramark at the new Bramley-Moore dock stadium.
The new ground will hold 52,888 spectators and is estimated to have cost a total of £750million.
‘£60m’ revenue boost will ‘keep Everton in the top 10’, says Wyness
Wyness insisted it is a “very positive sign” to see this deal wrapped up well in advance of Everton’s move.
He told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “This Aramark deal will be a substantial part of the new revenue streams.
“I’m expecting the new stadium to throw off around £50-60million of increases in revenue annually.
“It’s not massive, but if Everton didn’t have it they’d be dropping further behind others every year.

“This keeps them in the top 10, easily.
“Aramark are a great brand, great partner – it’s a very positive sign to get them in so early.”
