Everton are interested in signing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, according to a report.
The Evening Standard claim that the Toffees are keen on the Chelsea striker, who has thrived this season during a loan spell with Bristol City.
It is understood that Chelsea’s pursuit of Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has been strengthened by the Merseyside club’s interest in Abraham.
The report details that the 19-year-old has been identified as one of the best young English talents outside of the Premier League, scoring 25 goals across all competitions for Bristol City this campaign.
Abraham is one of several players to be loaned out from Stamford Bridge in recent years and he has taken the Championship by storm.

The England Under-21 international has been a great success for Bristol City and looks like being the major reason behind them staying in the division.
He has scored 22 goals in the league this season, making him the second-joint highest goal scorer in the Championship.
Abraham is a highly-rated teenager at Chelsea, but the competition for places at the Premier League leaders is extremely force.
Everton will surely need a new striker if Lukaku does leave in the summer window and Abraham has been identified as a potential target.
Football Insider verdict:
Everton manager Ronald Koeman has shown a willingness to promote youth at Goodison Park this season and a move for Abraham would make perfect sense. The youngster is really impressing in the Championship this season and looks destined to become an established Premier League player. His 25-goal tally this campaign suggests he already has great composure in front of goal and is an exciting prospect at the age of 19. Everton would do very well to include Abraham in any potential deal for Lukaku and it would add to their pool of English talent. However, it’s unlikely Abraham is ready yet to lead the line for the Toffees on a consistent basis and a proven goal scorer would also be needed in the summer.
