James Garner reacts as Thierno Barry shares Everton message
Everton midfielder James Garner has reacted to the Toffees’ fresh message about new signing Thierno Barry.
David Moyes’ intent to strengthen his attacking ranks was demonstrated when Everton signed Barry from Villarreal on Wednesday, 9 July.
The 22-year-old has become the Merseyside outfit’s second summer addition, after they acquired former loan signing Carlos Alcaraz permanently.
Barry is set for regular game time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium next season after Everton released fellow striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

But his signature also shows that David Moyes is intent on bringing young talent to Merseyside and developing them, as fellow summer addition Alcaraz is also just 22 years old.
Alcaraz and Barry’s arrivals are also coupled with the departures of experienced players Abdoulaye Doucoure, Asmir Begovic, and former England international Ashley Young.
Amid those exits, Everton did give Seamus Coleman a new contract, showing that Moyes still values maintaining some senior assets.
However, by replacing Calvert-Lewin with Barry and adding Alcaraz to his ranks permanently, the Toffees boss has demonstrated that his side’s new chapter at the Hill Dickinson Stadium will involve a focus on young talent.
Meanwhile, Leeds are accelerating their interest in Everton’s Beto, as exclusively revealed to Football Insider by former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown.
Elsewhere, the Blues have been urged to sign Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth in a Goodison News exclusive.
