Everton make Harry Wilson transfer plan as Fulham exit nears
Everton are planning to make another move to sign Harry Wilson this summer after they saw a January approach rebuffed by Fulham.
Wilson is out of contract at Craven Cottage in June, and Everton may well be his next destination after some standout form this season.
Everton made a move to sign Wilson near the end of the winter transfer window, but Fulham had no plans to let one of their key players leave midway through the campaign.
The Wales winger has produced some of the finest performances of his career so far in the last few months, with eight goals and four assists in 25 Premier League outings in 2025-26.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, the Toffees could return with an approach for Wilson ahead of next season as he prepares to leave Fulham at the end of his deal.

Everton likely to reignite their Harry Wilson interest in the summer
Several other Premier League sides, such as Leeds, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, have been linked to Wilson recently, but Everton were the only club to approach Fulham over a possible transfer in the last window.
Wilson will want to keep impressing in the latter stages of this season to create an even bigger battle for his services, with the Toffees set to reignite their interest if he does choose to leave Fulham.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “I think probably half the Premier League are looking at Harry Wilson.
“Everton made a cheeky enquiry in the January transfer window which was quickly rebuffed by Fulham, but I’m sure they’ll be back at the table looking at him, and I’m sure there’ll be clubs from abroad looking at Wilson (too).
“He’s just been in red-hot form for Fulham in the last couple of months. It’s a wide-open race for Wilson right now.”
Everton want to sign Jack Grealish for a cut-price fee despite injury blow
Everton’s potential move for Wilson could hinge on Grealish‘s future at the club, as he prepares to sit out for the rest of the campaign with a foot fracture.
The Man City loanee has been a key man under David Moyes this season, and Football Insider have revealed that Everton want to sign Grealish for a fee of around £20million, rather than the £50m option-to-buy in his current contract.

City are open to all possibilities when it comes to how he departs the Etihad Stadium in the summer, but it is clear that he has no future in their playing squad.
Grealish and Wilson primarily play on opposite wings, but the Toffees may be forced to sign one or the other ahead of next season, due to potentially lofty wage demands from both players.
