Everton make ‘huge’ Iliman Ndiaye transfer plan in response to Tottenham
Iliman Ndiaye has been among the most impressive players in the Premier League this season and has attracted interest due to his performances for Everton.
David Moyes’ side beat Fulham 2-0 last time out, and while the Senegal international didn’t pick up a goal or assist, it was another impressive display.
The midfielder has scored four goals and provided one assist so far this season, including crucial goals to earn points against Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Wolves.
However, his performances have heightened interest from a number of top Premier League sides, with the likes of Arsenal and Man City linked to Ndiaye.
Football Insider revealed on 11 November that Tottenham are interested in Ndiaye and have added him to their list of targets ahead of the January transfer window.

Everton respond to Tottenham interest in Iliman Ndiaye
Despite holding confidence of keeping their star player, Everton could assess alternatives to Ndiaye in case he is tempted to make the switch.
However, Everton have no plans to lose their star man either in January or next summer, and will not entertain offers for him mid-way through the season.
That is according to former Tottenham and Man United chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the midfielder is a “huge” player for the Toffees and will not be allowed to leave.
“I can’t see any world in which Everton let him go,” he told Football Insider.
“If you had one criticism of Everton in recent years, it would be that they’ve lacked that type of flair player who can produce something from nothing.
“Now they’ve got one in Ndiaye, he’s giving them something they didn’t have before.
“I used to have my criticisms of him, but he’s stepped up his performances since he’s gone to Everton, he’s done a very good job there.
“So I can’t think of any reason they’d want to let him go, because he is a huge part of that side and the way they play, and like I said, he gives them something other players can’t.

“Moyes won’t want to lose him, there’s no chance of that, so I’d be very surprised to see him go.
“Even if it is Tottenham who come in for him, or whoever it is, Everton want to keep hold of him.
“I don’t think there’s any way they’ll let him go mid-way through the season.”
This comes after Brown told Football Insider last month that Everton are confident of keeping Ndiaye and believe he will not push for a move despite the interest.
Newcastle United plot move to sign James Garner
Ndiaye is not the only star player being linked with a move away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the near future, however, with clubs circling.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 12 November that Newcastle are interested in James Garner and could make a move to sign him in January.
The 24-year-old’s outstanding performances this season have seen Moyes back him for a call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad before the World Cup.

However, Everton want Garner to sign a new contract and are hopeful of seeing him commit his long-term future to their ambitious plans under Moyes.
The midfielder’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, triggering interest from elsewhere, but the Toffees remain confident about his future.
