Everton make major Tyler Dibling decision after Jack Grealish deal agreed
Everton have arrived at a pivotal conclusion over Tyler Dibling after the expected signing of Jack Grealish on a season-long loan was agreed.
After an extremely disappointing pre-season ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, there looks to be light at the end of the tunnel for the Toffees.
The Merseyside club have agreed a deal to bring Man City outcast Grealish in on a season-long loan, a huge boost to David Moyes’ attacking options.
The 29-year-old struggled to find regular game time under Pep Guardiola last year and has found a move away to resurrect his career.

Moyes has also been pursuing Southampton’s talented right-winger with numerous bids with the latest £40million offer for Dibling rejected by the club.
In the wake of the Grealish news, it looks like the blue half of Merseyside may have been forced to re-think their hunt for the 19-year-old.
Everton have ‘moved on’ from Tyler Dibling due to ‘high price’
With a gaping hole on the right-hand side of the midfield, the left-footed winger looked to be a superb option to bring to Merseyside.
However, a post on X (11 August) by BBC Merseyside reporter Giulia Bould has confirmed the two parties have not continued talks for the highly-rated youngster.
Providing an update on the transfer saga, the 5Live reporter said: “Everton have moved on from Tyler Dibling after Southampton set a high price on the winger.
“The two clubs couldn’t agree on a fee for the 19 year old last week. There has been no further contact and #EFC are now exploring other priorities.”

Football Insider verdict
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider on 11 August, former Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen CEO Keith Wyness believes Dibling can be a £90m player in the future.
Yet, it has become apparent that the Evertonians are unwilling to meet the Saints’ valuation for their youngster in the region of £40-50m.
It is highly likely that by reaching an agreement to bring England international Grealish in on a temporary basis has plugged a hole in Moyes’ attack.

Therefore, proceeding to pursue an expensive deal for the 19-year-old made little sense if the Toffees can find a way to do without him, especially given the huge savings by not bringing in a relatively unproven teenager compared to the experience of the Villa academy product.
The arrival of the former Villain could mean a switch of sides for the speedy Iliman N’Diaye as the loanee nestles in on the left-hand side.
Scottish boss Moyes will be thrilled to have the Englishman in his ranks and can expect a highly motivated and productive season from the City outcast ahead of the World Cup.
