Everton must plot move for PL striker who could fire at WC, club will reportedly sell for £20m+
Everton are in desperate need of a new centre-forward next season and one man that should crop up on their radar is Newcastle United ace Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The 23-year-old is the type of figure that could be a real success at Goodison Park and the Toffees are crying out for a target man like him next season.
He spent the second half of 2017/18 season on loan with Fulham, where he helped them earn promotion from the Championship with 12 goals in just 20 appearances.
The striker’s build-up play was brilliant at times and the Chronicle now reports that Newcastle will look to sell on their prized asset this summer after a difficult spell for him at St James’ Park.
It is understood they are hoping to secure £20million-plus for his signature and want to remove his wages from their budget.

Mitrovic could now lead the line for Serbia at this summer’s World Cup and if he enjoys a strong tournament then Everton should be at the front of the queue to sign him.
He has a decent record of 13 goals in 36 international caps for his nation and he will be hoping to fire this summer in Russia.
Manager Marco Silva needs a new number nine option and they don’t come much more bullish than Newcastle’s striker.
He is perfectly suited to the physicality of the Premier League and has also proven in his short career so far that he can be efficient career, which is why Newcastle’s loss should be Everton’s gain.
In other Everton news, they must abandon their £40m pursuit and turn their attention to a Championship flyer.
