Everton on red alert as agent confirms manager wants rid of £15m+ rated goal-machine - report

Everton will make a move to sign striker Lukasz Teodorczyk after his Dynamo Kiev boss said he wants rid of the striker, according to a report.

HBVL reports that the Toffees, along with AC Milan and West Bromwich Albion, who are also eyeing up the 25-year-old, will have to pay between £15million and £20million for the Dynamo Kiev striker who is currently on loan at Anderlecht.

According to Kiev president Ihor Surkis, manager boss Sergei Rebrov has said that he doesn’t want the Polish striker at the club.

“Of course we regret the loan move,” said Surkis, as quoted by HBVL.

“He was loaned out at the request of our coach, Rebrov. Moreover, Rebrov wanted rid of Teo.”

Teodorczyk’s agent, Marcin Kubacki, confirmed the rift, saying: “Playing for Kiev, he’ll never do it, because the coach has never really supported him.”

Kiev are not blessed in the striking department as Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Biesiden are currently the Ukranian side’s only traditional strikers after their top goalscorer Junior Moraes recently secured a loan move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.

Teodorczyk has been in hot form during his temporary spell in Belgium though, and has hit a staggering 28 goals in 40 games in all competitions this season.

The goal machine is by far and away the Jupiler League’s top goalscorer this season with 20 goals to his name in the competition – five more than his nearest rival.

He has 11 caps for Poland and has scored four goals since making his international bow in 2013.

Football Insider Verdict

Rebrov has had some pretty strong words to say about Teodorczyk so this definitely opens up a possibility that he will be on the move in the summer. After such a high-scoring season in Beglium, there’s no doubt that a bigger club will look to make a move for the Poland striker. Anderlecht has a knack of getting the best out of players, as seen with his teammates Youri Tielemens, who is also one of the club’s most highly-rated players. West Brom and AC Milan could be key players as the Baggies have dealt with Kiev before when they signed Brown Ideye from the Ukranian club. Also Milan still prove to be one of the biggest names in European football despite their recent woes.

In other Everton news, Manchester United could be without a key player when the two clubs meet in April.
