‘Everton set new Jarrad Branthwaite stance’ – Keith Wyness
Everton star defender Jarrad Branthwaite has once again been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks.
In a new development, it has been widely reported that the 22-year-old could consider his future on Merseyside after missing out on Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad last month.
Man United, Tottenham and Real Madrid are among the sides to have been linked with Branthwaite after his impressive form for Everton.
The defender is under contract with David Moyes’ side until June 2027, with the Toffees holding the option to extend that deal a further 12 months.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has insisted Branthwaite should be valued at no less than £100million.

Everton to ‘build team around’ Branthwaite this summer, says Wyness
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted The Friedkin Group will be “very sure” Branthwaite stays – and expects them to build the side around him this summer.
Everton are expected to be active in the off-season ahead of the move into the new stadium and the first full campaign since the takeover went through.
Wyness insisted he would be “very surprised” if Branthwaite was let go.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I’ve always believed he is in the £100million bracket, I think he’ll be the first to go at that level.
“I don’t think he will be going.
“I think the new owners will be very sure that he stays and they will build the team around him.
“All the talk right now seems to be agent talk, rather than any big desire for the player to move.
“I believe he’s one of the players Moyes will have spoken to, and I think Branthwaite will see positive signs – he’ll see a future at Everton that wasn’t there before.
“That will be very attractive, coupled with a new stadium. Everton then becomes quite a compelling option for a young player.
“Overall, I’d be very surprised if he does go. But if he does, at £100million, that gives us some real ammunition to rebuild the squad.”

Everton could bank new stadium boost
Meanwhile, Wyness has previously told Football Insider (29 March) that Everton may have already agreed a stadium naming rights deal with the necessary legal issues currently being resolved.
Such a deal could be worth £15million-a-year to the Merseyside club, who spent £800million to complete the Bramley-Moore Dock arena.
Everton have publicly confirmed they have received offers to sponsor their new stadium, but are yet to announce an agreement with any interested parties.
