Everton set sights on two strikers after Calvert-Lewin update – sources

Everton want to sign two new strikers in the upcoming summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The Toffees are putting ambitious plans in place for their first major window under The Friedkin Group’s ownership and ahead of their new stadium move for the 2025-26 campaign.

Two strikers have been identified as essential ahead of the summer – with Dominic Calvert-Lewin expected to leave at the end of his contract.

Football Insider revealed on Thursday (10 April) that Newcastle United are “very keen” on signing Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Armando Broja will return to Chelsea at the end of his loan spell and question marks linger over the suitability of Beto and Youssef Chermiti.

Everton to sign Ipswich star Delap?

Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on Thursday (10 April) Everton will struggle to compete with Man United and Chelsea for the signature of Ipswich Town star Liam Delap.

Delap has attracted interest across the Premier League after his debut season in the top flight with Kieran McKenna’s side.

He has hit 12 goals and notched two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions this term.
