Everton step up deals for three star men amid Jordan Pickford contract latest
Everton are set to offer new deals to three more stars after stating they would open talks with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
The Toffees have made a positive start to the season with two wins from their opening three Premier League matches.
Manager David Moyes now wants to ensure the top talent at the club remain at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a trio of players entering the final year of their contracts.
Pickford’s contract expires in 2027 and Everton want the 31-year-old to stay at the club for the rest of his career.

Everton to look at contracts of key stars
As reported by The Athletic’s Patrick Boyland on X [5 September], Everton are also looking at players James Tarkowski, James Garner and Vitaliy Mykolenko.
32-year-old Tarkowski is a key player at the heart of the Everton defence, whilst Mykolenko has cemented himself as the number one left-back at the club.
Garner has recently stepped in at left-back for Mykolenko amid injury problems for the Ukrainian.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been one of the Toffees’ brightest performers this campaign and Football Insider exclusively revealed in June that Everton were going to open contract talks with Garner.

David Moyes looking to avoid repeat of difficult summer transfer window
Football Insider Verdict
Everton lost a number of players at the end of last season due to their contracts expiring and Moyes had a job on his hands during the summer to replace them.
Moyes struggled to bring in the required bodies of sufficient quality to his squad, and he wants to ensure that the same does not occur in 12 months time.
Garner is one of the most exciting talents at the club, and on current form interest in former Manchester United academy product would be high come January, whilst Pickford has established himself as the England number one and a fine Premier League goalkeeper.

Keeping the best talent may also ensure stars like Jack Grealish look at staying at Everton beyond their loan spell.
The future of Everton looks bright if Moyes is able to tie down the key players to new contracts.
