Everton takeover hijack blocked by Farhad Moshiri paperwork – Kieran Maguire
Parties are unable to hijack the takeover deal between 777 Partners and Everton because of the exclusivity deal signed by Farhad Moshiri.
That is the view of finance expert Kieran Maguire, who exclusively told Football Insider that there are multiple parties interested in completing a takeover of Everton.
Moshiri agreed a £500million deal in September to sell his majority stake to 777 Partners, with the US-based group granted an exclusivity deal by the Everton chairman.
The agreement is still yet to be completed with the Premier League sharing concerns over their source of funding.
However, Maguire explains that no other interested parties can attempt to hijack the deal because of the exclusivity agreement granted by Moshiri.
Farhad Moshiri agreement blocks Everton takeover hijack
“777 Partners have got an exclusivity deal with Farhad Moshiri,” Maguire told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.
“We know that there are other parties who are interested in buying Everton because it is an attractive club and an attractive asset.
“They are based in a football-mad city, with amazing history, heritage and culture.

“There are so many positives that would attract a prospective owner.
“However, they can’t do anything about it because when Moshiri signed that deal he effectively said it is 777 or the deep blue sea.“
