Ademola Lookman has expressed that he has gained a lot from the Everton training camp in Dubai as he prepares for a clash with Sunderland at the weekend.
Ronald Koeman’s side went away for some warm weather training while the FA Cup was taking place as they took part in a five-day camp in the heat.
After that mini break, they are now set to return to action when they welcome rock-bottom Sunderland to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Black Cats manager David Moyes returns to his old stomping ground as he aims to pick some valuable points in their relegation fight.
Lookman delivered his verdict on the trip to Dubai ahead of the Premier League clash against Sunderland.

“I got to know them and they got to know me,” Lookman told the club’s official website. “I’ve only just joined in January and I feel like I’m even more part of the team now, which is good.
“It takes some adapting but I’ve been doing that on the training pitch every single day. I’ve adapted well and with time I’ll adapt even more and become better as a player.
“Our home performances have been excellent and the fans have been behind us 100 per cent. It give us, as a team, confidence when we step out on the football pitch [against Sunderland] that the fans are behind us.”
Teenage sensation Lookman joined the Toffees during the January transfer window when he made a switch from League One side Charlton.
The 19-year-old striker scored on his debut for the club when he netted within minutes of coming onto the pitch during the 4-0 win against Manchester City in mid-January.
Since then, he has played five league games for Koeman’s side, starting the last two encounters where they have picked up four points.
The Merseyside club are currently sitting seventh in the table and will be looking to close the seven-point gap opened up by sixth-placed Manchester United.
