Everton to hold Jack Harrison talks in new twist – sources

Everton will hold talks with Leeds United over a permanent deal for Jack Harrison as soon as their play-off fate is sealed, sources have told Football Insider.

Harrison, 27, wants to remain at Goodison Park beyond this season and is unlikely to play for Leeds again regardless of the outcome of the play-off final.

Everton announced that the winger would return to Elland Road following the expiry of his loan deal, but a permanent move remains firmly on the cards.

Football Insider revealed on 21 April that Harrison would be allowed to leave Leeds permanently this summer, with Daniel Farke set to keep the faith in his current wide options.

Everton want to make Jack Harrison deal permanent from Leeds

Harrison arrived at Goodison Park on a season-long loan deal following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League.

With three goals and three assists in 29 Premier League games, as he helped Everton survive the threat of relegation, Sean Dyche has been pleased with the winger’s performances.

While his goal and assist numbers may not be outstanding, it is his work off the ball and attitude which has impressed fans at Goodison.

Having signed for Leeds from Man City for £11million in 2021, after initially joining on loan in 2018, Harrison will leave Elland Road this summer, sources say.
