Everton: Tyler Dibling exit looks obvious as Jack Grealish and Abdul Fatawu moves touted

Everton look set to allow Tyler Dibling to leave the club soon as they line up permanent moves for numerous wingers in the summer window.

Dibling joined Everton for a club-record £42million fee from Southampton last August, but has not had the desired impact on Merseyside so far.

The 20-year-old has been unable to contribute to a goal in his 17 appearances for the club up to now, while he has started just four times and played for 350 minutes in the Premier League.

Everton fans have fumed at David Moyes for his lack of opportunities in recent times, especially after Jack Grealish’s injury, but he does not look set to come into the team anytime soon.

It has been a tough debut season for the youngster, and Dibling could well figure in Everton’s transfer plans this summer if recent developments do come to fruition.

Everton want to sign Jack Grealish and Abdul Fatawu on permanent deals

Everton have missed injured Man City loanee Grealish at certain points over the last few months, after he struck up a great relationship with his teammates and Moyes alike.

According to a new report from the Mail, they are confident of securing his services on a permanent basis this summer, but want to reduce his £50m valuation as he nears the final year of his City contract.

Not only that, but former club scout Bryan King has told Goodison News that Everton are keen admirers of Fatawu and want to sign him after another strong individual season at Leicester.

He has plenty of Premier League experience and would be a wise addition to Moyes’ ranks as a versatile forward who can provide an impact off the bench.

Sources have told Football Insider that Dibling could leave Everton this summer if he continues to fail to make an impact, and he certainly seems like the most likely winger to depart as they plan for the summer.

Dwight McNeil has impressed recently and can play on both flanks, while the Toffees want to keep hold of Iliman Ndiaye amid interest from bigger clubs.

Dibling is already struggling for game time with Grealish out of the picture, so adding him back in, alongside another winger who can play on either side in Fatawu, means his opportunities will surely take a further hit, and he will depart.

What has Moyes said about Dibling’s lack of opportunities?

Dibling was told that he would play more before the season ended by Moyes in February, yet has featured for just one minute of league action in Everton’s last seven league outings.

Moyes also called on the 20-year-old to show more in training after the arrival of Tyrique George in the January window, which he clearly hasn’t done so far.

He said: “(After George’s arrival) I’d be thinking I better get my finger out and show the manager what I was really all about.

““The one thing Tyler has got on his side is that he is young, and he is a quiet boy who might take more time to settle in. Might, but he needs to show when he gets the opportunities.

“What we want from him is being direct, taking people on, committing people, Jack Grealish does it in a way where he drags the ball and brings people to him and finds a way of not releasing.

“It doesn’t need to be all one way, but he needs to get a way of becoming that player who we bought that we thought would be creative. Are you going to get us some assists, are you going to score some goals?”
