'Different level' - John Hartson salutes Celtic 26-year-old after outstanding performance
By John Reid
John Hartson was hugely impressed with Celtic winger James Forrest’s performance against Bayern Munich last night.
The BT Sport pundit watched as Forrest tore Bayern apart, as he turned in his best ever Celtic performance.
His vision to create space and to play in Callum McGregor for Celtic’s equaliser was the highlight of what was a sensational display.
“He’s took his game to a different level tonight”, he said, as shown on BT Sport Football’s official twitter account.
“Everything he did was brilliant”, the former Celtic striker concluded.

Forrest hasn’t been a regular for Celtic this season, as he lost his first team place to Patrick Roberts, when the winger returned to Celtic on loan from Manchester City.
With Roberts out with a hamstring injury for at least six weeks, Forrest has the chance to make a first-team position his own, and he certainly took that chance last night.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will be delighted that when Roberts returns from injury he has top two class players competing for one position.
The next big test for James is Celtic’s trip to Paris to face PSG in three weeks’ time, and after last night he should be one of the first names on the team sheet for that game.
In other Celtic news, supporters took to twitter to criticise a player’s performance against Bayern.
