Ex-Leeds United star: Jack Harrison will ask for Newcastle move as 'big' offer predicted
Leeds United winger Jack Harrison would choose to move to Newcastle United this summer if an offer comes in.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Englishman’s future.
On 24 May, The Telegraph reported Newcastle are interested in signing Harrison this summer.
It is claimed the Magpies are likely to make a bid for the 25-year-old this summer though they were hoping to activate a release clause if Leeds were relegated.
Kenny claims Harrison would choose to move to St James’ Park over staying at Elland Road.
“Newcastle have enough of a pull to take players away from Leeds,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Look at how they finished the season and look where Leeds are in the table.
“We know what plans they have and we know the direction they are moving in. I think things are uncertain at Elland Road.
“He’s young but he is a quality, Premier League experienced, and it shows what Newcastle are trying to do.
“It’s a bit like the signings they made in January. I think if Newcastle come in with a big offer for him then a deal can be done, there is a massive pull for a player, I think he would want to go.
“I think Leeds fans will send him on his way with good luck after scoring such an important goal at the end of the season.”
Harrison bagged 10 goals in the 2021-22 Premier League season.
This is more than Allan Saint-Maximin, Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson managed during the same campaign.
