Ex-manager issues verdict on Firmino quitting Liverpool in £16.6m transfer
Alex McLeish has suggested Roberto Firmino could look to leave Liverpool this summer over his game time at Anfield.
The former Scotland manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 30-year-old would have to be unhappy about something to push for a move away.
As reported by Catalan newspaper El Nacional on Saturday (15 January), Liverpool are willing to let Firmino go this summer for £16.6million (€20million)

Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on the Brazilian ahead of a potential move at the end of the season.
The striker’s contract expires in the summer of 2023.
McLeish suggested Firmino would remain at Anfield if he is satisfied with his place in the squad.
McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “The main man in there knows these players from top to bottom.
“We can only speculate and say that Liverpool may want to balance the books. Does Firmino want one last hoorah and seek new adventures?
“I guess if the player’s happy, he’ll stay at Liverpool. That’s what I feel.
“If he’s not, if he wants more game team then and he wants to go, those are things we don’t know.
“So I’m not about to say to Liverpool they should sell him. It’s one for them to decide. He’s been a terrific player.
“Sometimes not the greatest goal return but what a cog in the wheel of that magnificent team.”
A firm fan favourite at Anfield, Firmino has struggled with injuries this season.

He has played 18 times for Liverpool across all competitions.
The Brazilian’s absence has allowed Diogo Jota to establish himself as a regular this term.
