Exclusive: Aston Villa and West Ham in race to sign sensation Ashley Trujillo

Aston Villa, West Ham and Fulham are keen on Queens Park Rangers’ teenage sensation Ashley Trujillo, sources have told Football Insider.

Trujillo, 16, is highly regarded within the corridors of power at Loftus Road.

His performances for club and country and youth level have brought him onto the radar of a host of clubs in the Premier League.

The attacker impressed recently for Colombia at the South American Under-17 Championship, where Colombia finished as runners-up – with Trujillo scoring a stunning goal in the win against Peru.

Trujillo wanted by Premier League trio

He could be the next top talent off an impressive production line at Championship side QPR.

The London-born teenager plays as a centre-forward, on the left wing and in attacking midfield.

QPR have already seen the likes of Eberechi Eze and Ilias Chair come through their youth system in recent years, while Rayan Kolli has also made the grade for the R’s this season.

Aston Villa are chasing Champions League football in the Premier League, while Fulham sit eighth in the table under Marco Silva.

West Ham are languishing in 17th under Graham Potter after he replaced sacked boss Julen Lopetegui earlier this year.
