Exclusive: Aston Villa convinced Marcus Rashford will join rivals he recently destroyed
Aston Villa chiefs are increasingly convinced Marcus Rashford will join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 27-year-old’s future is up in the air as the summer transfer window approaches.
Villa agreed a £40million option to buy clause when they signed Rashford on loan from Man United in February.
However, any move is dependent on the forward’s approval – and Villa believe Champions League semi-finalists PSG are in pole position to agree a blockbuster deal.

The Ligue 1 champions have a long-held interest in Rashford – who has no future at Man United after clashing with manager Ruben Amorim.
He recently starred against PSG as Villa suffered a narrow 5-4 aggregate loss in the Champions League quarter-final.

Rashford has notched four goals and six assists in 17 appearances across all competitions during his time with Villa.
The England international’s lucrative contract with Man United is set to run until June 2028.
Tottenham also have a long-term interest in Rashford, but Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (30 April) that Spurs will find a deal too difficult to do without qualifying for the Champions League.

De Bruyne to Aston Villa update
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (28 April) that Aston Villa chiefs will back Unai Emery if he wants to strike a free transfer deal for Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne, 33, is keen to stay at the highest level as he considers his next move – but is on a huge deal at Man City.
The Belgian playmaker has already announced he intends to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of his contract in June.
