Exclusive: Brown blown away by 'Remarkable' Spurs midfielder causing Mourinho headache
Michael Brown has been left raving over the “remarkable” skill of Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele shown during his first season in England.
The former Spurs and Leeds midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, admits that Jose Mourinho needs to find how best to utilise the 23-year-old in his side.
The France international returned to the starting XI against Burnley on Saturday, having started on the bench against both Wolves and Norwich over the past week.
Brown thinks that Spurs’ record signing is still adapting to the cut and thrust of the Premier League, but says he has been hugely impressed with what he has seen in flashes.
Brown told Football Insider: “You see a lot of players come over to the Premier League and they need time to adapt, I don’t think he’ll be any different.
“How he’s moved the ball at times, I’ve seen the way he can do things with it, it’s remarkable, he does it remarkably well.

“He’s got the ability, can he fit into the structure, where does he play him, what kind of position? He’s certainly got something.”
Ndombele now has a total of 27 appearances under his belt for the north Londoners, 17 coming among the starting XI.
He scored his first goal for the club against Aston Villa on the opening day of the season but has had a number of fitness issues which has limited his playing time.
