Exclusive: Pundit tips 'great' Bielsa to lure international striker, £12m will seal deal
Michael Brown insists that Leeds United will have no trouble convincing San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich to sign for the club if they make a move this summer.
The former Leeds midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, believes the Argentina international would jump at the chance to work with his fellow countryman at Elland Road.
Brown has urged supporters to have faith in Bielsa’s transfer plans this summer and believes Gaich would be lured by the opportunity to work under the Leeds boss.
Brown told Football Insider: “Listen, he’ll be well known, Marcelo Bielsa, in that area, in that region.
“People will want to play for Marcelo Bielsa, for sure. Is he a great coach and somebody you’d look to from where you’ve been brought up? Of course it will be.

“We’ve got to understand what type of player they’re going to get. Trust in Marcelo Bielsa, that’s all it is. If he believes he’s going to help the football club, then fantastic. We’re talking about the Premier League now, we’re talking about signings and at £12million, it’s not a lot of money.”
Gaich has got one cap for Argentina under his belt, having scored seven goals in 27 appearances for San Lorenzo.
Patrick Bamford is currently Bielsa’s first-choice striker, while he also has Jean-Kevin Augustin and Tyler Roberts as first-team options.
In other Leeds United news, it can be REVEALED that Victor Orta has held talks over signing a Spaniard this summer.
