Exclusive: Celtic sensation Daniel Cummings chased by English clubs

Celtic hot-shot Daniel Cummings is being tracked by a host of English clubs amid his contract situation at Parkhead, sources have told Football Insider.

Cummings, who has come through the ranks at Celtic, is out of contract next summer and could leave the club for a minimal fee with cross-border compensation only €310,000.

The 18-year-old striker has scored 18 goals in 17 games across all competitions this season.

He is second in the UEFA Youth League scoring ranks after bagging another two goals in the midweek win over RB Leipzig.

Glasgow-born Hoops fan Cummings has hit four goals in four starts in European competitions this term.

The centre-forward has also been prolific for Celtic’s B Team in the Lowland League this term.

He made his debut for the second side in the 2022-23 campaign and has been prolific ever since, scoring 29 goals across 42 games in Scotland’s fifth tier.

The 2006-born ace signed his first professional contract with Celtic in July 2022 but could walk away for a small sum next summer.
