Exclusive: Chelsea ready to agree two more winger deals after Gittens update

Chelsea are ready to accept bids for two of their current wingers this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Both Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke could leave the club after the Blues agreed a deal worth £55million with Borussia Dortmund for Jamie Gittens.

Sources say that Sterling doesn’t have a long-term future at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that Arsenal decided against a permanent signing following his loan spell in North London.

Madueke has done well for Enzo Maresca in recent times but Chelsea are willing to sell him now, with clubs at home and abroad monitoring the situation.

Chelsea want to sell Sterling and Madueke

It comes as no surprise that Chelsea want to sell Sterling, considering the fact that he has been out of favour in West London for some time now.

Last season, the 30-year-old had a disappointing loan at Arsenal, starting just seven Premier League games for Mikel Arteta’s side and not managing to score a single goal.

For Madueke, it was a slightly more positive campaign, as he established himself as a regular under Enzo Maresca, scoring seven goals in his 27 league starts.

However, the winger could be pushed down the pecking order with Gittens joining Chelsea, and a summer move may be best for both parties.

Christopher Nkunku closes on Chelsea exit

Meanwhile, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Chelsea will be forced to sell players in the coming weeks with Christopher Nkunku expected to be among the first exits.

The Blues are expected to announce another two signings imminently, pushing a number of players further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens are set to join Chelsea for a combined fee of over £100million, as Enzo Maresca continues to add attacking talent to his side.

Nkunku is pushing to leave Stamford Bridge as a result, and the France international won’t be the only one to depart this summer.
