A number of Championship clubs are interested in signing Fulham winger Neeskens Kebano before the close of the transfer window, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The 28-year-old has struggled for game time since the Cottagers gained promotion and could exit in pursuit of regular first team football.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that second-tier outfits are pursuing a loan deal for the DR Congo international ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
Fulham boss Scott Parker is weighing up whether to allow the winger to head out for the second half of the season.
Kebano has made 10 appearances across all competitions this season and has started just one game in the Premier League – the opening day defeat to Arsenal at Craven Cottage.
The attacker has fallen down the pecking order following the summer loan signings of Ademola Lookman and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
A £4million arrival from Genk in August 2016, Kebano’s 99 total appearances for the Cottagers have yielded 15 goals and eight assists.
He played a crucial role in the club’s promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring home and away against Cardiff City in the Play-Off Semi-Finals.
The club rewarded him with a new two-year contract after their promotion was confirmed.
Speaking on the possible transfer activity at Craven Cottage this week, Parker said: “There is a possibility of players leaving the football club.
“Regarding players coming in, that stays the same. I’m not sure that is going to happen. We’ll keep going and working with the players we have.”
