Exclusive: Crystal Palace set sights on Max Kilman as January plan revealed
Crystal Palace have set their sights on West Ham defender Max Kilman ahead of January, sources have told Football Insider.
The London club are exploring the market for alternatives to Marc Guehi should he leave in the winter window.
Guehi nearly joined Liverpool on deadline day, but the deal collapsed at the eleventh hour, and his future remains up in the air going into January.
Sources have told Football Insider that Kilman, 28, is on the radar of Palace and is seen as a potential replacement for Guehi.
A left-sided centre-back who is proven in the Premier League, he has a contract at West Ham that runs until 2031.

Liverpool remains interested in Marc Guehi
Football Insider understands that Liverpool remain optimistic of signing Guehi, who will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season, despite interest from Bayern Munich.
Oliver Glasner has been nothing but complimentary of the talented defender, as he continues to wear the captain’s armband at Selhurst Park amid the ongoing rumours around his future.
The Eagles are not naive, however, and plans are clearly being put in place for his eventual departure, whether that be in January or next summer.

Signing Kilman as the England international’s replacement could be much more difficult than anticipated after the change of managers at the London Stadium, though.
Nuno Espirito Santo is a big fan of Max Kilman
The Hammers are in a very difficult spot this season, with Nuno Espirito Santo taking the reins from Graham Potter late last month. They currently sit 19th in the Premier League table.
Nuno is a huge fan of Kilman, having worked together at Wolves. The centre-back eventually became his captain at Molineux Stadium, and the same situation is likely to occur this season.
Given that the player cost the Hammers £40million in 2024, the Eagles may have to offer a large chunk of cash to seal his signature, especially with his current contract running until 2031.
