Exclusive: Daniel Johnson agrees Karagumruk deal after Stoke termination
Daniel Johnson has agreed a deal to join Karagumruk after his Stoke City contract was terminated last week, sources have told Football Insider.
The Jamaica international has agreed terms on a two-year deal with the Turkish club as he prepares to move away from England.
The attacking midfielder spent last season with the Potters, but the Championship club opted to end his deal.
The 31-year-old had started the season with Stoke having made a four-minute appearance in the league, while he also played the full game against Carlisle United in the EFL Cup.
Despite that, Stoke and Johnson have parted ways as the midfielder prepares to play abroad for the first time in his career.
Johnson provides versatility as he has played all across midfield over the years in various positions.
