EXCLUSIVE By Wayne Veysey
Highly-rated defender Vashon Neufville is heading out of West Ham in the coming weeks as the club are unlikely to offer him a new deal, Football Insider understands.
Neufville, who is currently on loan at League Two Newport County, is out of contract at the Hammers in June and is facing up to leaving the London Stadium.
The left-back joined Newport during the January transfer window, but he has made two appearances during his time at the Welsh club.
Neufville is due to return to West Ham at the end of the Football League season, but he is well down the pecking order at the Premier League side.
The former England Under-16 and Under-17 international has seen his progress at West Ham held up by a series of injuries and a club source has told Football Insider they are ready to let him move on in this summer.
The 19-year-old, who was previously on Chelsea’s books before joining West Ham as a Under 14 in 2014, failed to make a first-team appearance for the Hammers.
In other West Ham transfer news, it can be REVEALED the club are tabling an offer for a £75,000-a-week star with a CV to die for.
