Exclusive: Everton agree terms of new deal with attacker out of contract next year

EXCLUSIVE By Pete O’Rourke

Highly-rated Everton forward Nathan Broadhead has agreed the terms of a new deal at the club, Football Insider understands.

Broadhead was entering the final year of his contract at Everton, which is due to expire next summer.

An Everton source has told Football Insider that the club have moved to tie him down for another 12 months, keeping him at Goodison Park until 2021.

The 21-year-old made his first-team debut for Everton in the Europa League win over Apollon Limassol in December 2017 and he has been a regular for David Unsworth’s Under-23s side.

Broadhead has been involved in Everton’s pre-season programme this summer, but with his first-team chances set to be limited this summer the club are prepared to send him out on loan.
