Exclusive: Everton and Crystal Palace in race to sign Williams twins

Everton and Crystal Palace are among a host of clubs tracking Airdrie’s teenage sensations Cole and Dylan Williams, sources have told Football Insider.

The Williams twins have been earning rave reviews for Airdrie’s academy side and the 16-year-old pair have been named on the bench for the first-team in the Scottish Championship this season.

Scouts from clubs in England and Scotland have been alerted to the potential of both players and are readying moves for the duo.

Airdrie are desperate to keep hold of the brothers and are keen to tie them down to professional contracts in a bid to avoid losing them on the cheap.

The duo are both midfielders and have been unused substitutes for the Scottish Championship’s bottom side on three occasions so far in the 2024-25 campaign.

North Lanarkshire outfit Airdrie finished fourth last term but are already six points adrift of safety from potential relegation at the bottom.
