Exclusive: Everton make Jorgen Strand Larsen transfer decision
Everton will not be pursuing Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Merseysiders have been linked with Strand Larsen in recent weeks following the struggles of both Thierno Barry and Beto.
However, David Moyes does not see him as the answer to Everton‘s need for an orthodox forward and has no plans to explore a potential deal.
West Ham have been linked with Strand Larsen, with decision-makers at the London Stadium looking to bolster Nuno Espirito Santo‘s squad.
Niclas Fullkrug is expected to leave West Ham for AC Milan next month, with a loan deal including an option to buy reportedly already agreed.

Thierno Barry and Beto struggle for Everton
Everton signed Barry from Villarreal in the summer, and he appears to have climbed above his striking competition in Moyes’ rankings in recent weeks.
| Thierno Barry | Premier League 2025-26 |
| Appearances | 18 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Shots | 17 |
| Chances created | 4 |
| Dispossessed | 5 |
| Duels won | 66 |
But the Frenchman is still yet to find his feet, scoring just one goal in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.
Beto has not represented a better option for the Toffees, however. The striker looked to have retained the form he showed last season when he scored in games against Wolves and Mansfield Town at the start of the campaign, but there has been little to write home about since.
Everton sit firmly in the middle of the table this season, but given the form of Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, they have often felt just a top striker away from taking the next step.

It does not appear that the striker will be Strand Larsen, however, with Moyes expected to consider alternatives in January.
Strand Larsen set for January move
Strand Larsen is among a whole host of Wolves players assessing their options in the January transfer window.
The Norway international only signed a new contract in the summer, but amid the certain relegation of Rob Edwards‘ team, interested clubs have began to circle.
The forward has struggled this season, but will be well-regarded ahead of a move after scoring 14 goals last season.
Strand Larsen is a strong finisher, and is well capable of providing a dominant presence for a team like Everton or West Ham.
Wolves will not be willing to let the striker go for nothing, however, especially after rejecting a sizable fee for him in the summer.
