Exclusive: Everton set sights on Leeds star Jayden Bogle
Everton are keeping tabs on Leeds United star Jayden Bogle ahead of the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Merseysiders are preparing to enter the market for a new right-back who can become the long-term first-choice in the position.
Sources say that Bogle, 25, has been shortlisted by Everton after impressing their scouts.
The defender, who joined Leeds from Sheffield United in the summer of 2024, has made a big impact for Daniel Farke’s side over the last 18 months.
He has started all 16 of their Premier League matches so far this season and has been one of the better players at Elland Road despite their struggles so far.
Bogle has a contract at Leeds that runs until the summer of 2028.

Everton set sights on signing Jayden Bogle
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 19 December that Everton are targeting a new right-back as a priority ahead of the January transfer window.
Jake O’Brien, 24, is the current first-choice right-back and has done a solid job so far this season after taking over the role from club legend Seamus Coleman.
However, Everton want a player with qualities similar to Coleman, who can offer more going forward than O’Brien, who is a centre-back by trade.
Bogle has impressed for Leeds this season and earned high praise for his performances, despite previous concerns about his ability to step up to the Premier League.

Everton scouts have been placed on alert as a result, and believe he fits the profile of full-back which they would be looking to add to the squad.
Leeds United brace for January departures
Bogle is not the only player being linked with a mid-season move away from Elland Road, with goalkeeper Illan Meslier widely expected to move on.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 17 December that AC Milan and Inter Milan want Meslier and are considering making moves when the window opens.
The 25-year-old is out of contract next summer and is set to leave Elland Road either in January or at the end of the season.

Football Insider revealed on 27 September that Meslier is open to leaving Leeds in January after being pushed down the pecking order under Farke.
The goalkeeper has not made a single appearance so far this season, and his departure from Elland Road is now considered inevitable.
