Exclusive: Fulham exploring late Edon Zhegrova move
Fulham are exploring a late move to sign Lille winger Edon Zhegrova before the transfer window closes, sources have told Football Insider.
Cottagers boss Marco Silva is keen to bring in attacking reinforcements after losing both Willian and Bobby Decordova-Reid earlier this summer.
Fulham have held a long-term interest in Zhegrova and are now weighing up a late move to sign the Kosovo international before 11pm on Friday (30 August).
However, a deal may be difficult to pull off after Lille qualified for the Champions League group stages.
Sources say it would take a “substantial fee” for the French outfit to even consider letting the 25-year-old leave the club before the end of the window.

Zhegrova joined Lille in 2022 in a deal worth around £5million, signing a four-year deal with the French club, and has since made 90 appearances for the club.
During that time, he has found the net 21 times while providing 16 assists, grabbing attention from the Premier League with his performances.
Fulham are long-term admirers of the winger and consider him a primary target for the closing stages of the transfer window.
Having already completed a deal to sign Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal earlier this summer, Silva remains keen to bolster his attacking options.
Joachim Andersen, Sander Berge, Jorge Cuenca and Ryan Sessegnon have also arrived at Craven Cottage this summer as Fulham look to improve upon a mid-table finish last time out.
An ambitious move to sign Zhegrova is under consideration as clubs head into the final 24 hours of the window, but other options are also on their list.
The club had initially hoped that Willian would agree to an extension on new terms, but no deal could be agreed, forcing them into the market.
