Exclusive: Fulham submit Ricardo Pepi bid, PSV’s response revealed

Fulham have submitted a £20million bid for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi, sources have told Football Insider.

The Dutch Eredivisie club have responded by rejecting the offer for the 22-year-old from the Londoners.

Sources say Fulham are now returning with an improved bid for Pepi as they look to agree a January deal.

The young striker already has 10 goals and two assists in 21 appearances in 2025-26, including four goal contributions in the Champions League.

This is not the first time that a Premier League club has seen an offer rejected for the talented star, though.

Premier League interest continues in Ricardo Pepi

During the last January transfer window, Football Insider understood that West Ham had an offer rejected for Pepi, who ended the 2024-25 campaign with 17 goals and three assists.

The USA international even has 13 goals in 34 caps, highlighting his ability at all levels, and why the Cottagers are not the first Premier League team to keep tabs on the player.

Football Insider understands that Fulham have recently joined the race for Ilan Kebbal from Paris FC, with forward signings clearly on Marco Silva‘s list for the January transfer window.

While Raul Jimenez appears back to his best, and Harry Wilson is in red-hot form for Fulham, goals have not come too easily for the rest of the squad in West London.

Marco Silva is in need of reinforcements at Fulham

Rodrigo Muniz remains on the sidelines with an injury, leaving the Cottagers lacking striker options for the second half of the campaign, and especially now.

Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze are away on international duty at AFCON, and so too is Calvin Bassey, but the January transfer window could be the perfect chance for the boss to strengthen his squad.

Fulham have moved up to ninth in the Premier League after beating 10-man Chelsea on Wednesday, 7 January, but the squad are capable of so much more with their current manager.

Pepi is certainly a talented individual, and while he is untested in England’s top division, his performances in Europe and on the international stage should provide confidence for a big-money deal.
