
Exclusive: Fulham’s Kieron Bowie undergoing Hibernian medical after deal agreed
Fulham forward Kieron Bowie is having a medical at Hibernian ahead of a move to Easter Road, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old is set to join the Scottish Premiership side on a permanent deal, which will be completed imminently.
The versatile attacker is well down the pecking order at Fulham, but a move to Hibernian providing would provide him with more opportunities for game time.
Bowie has spent the last two seasons on loan at Northampton Town to get as much regular first-team football as possible.
Bowie has made 85 appearances for Northampton throughout that time, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists.
However, he’s never made an appearance for Fulham’s first team.
Hibernian are looking to provide Kieron Bowie with game time
Bowie caught people’s attention due to his performances for Fulham’s Under-18s team, where he scored 15 goals in 21 games.
Despite that, he’s never appeared for the first team, with the pathway for career growth not existing for him.
Bowie has impressed for Scotland’s Under-21s side as well, building more interest in him from other clubs.
