
Exclusive: Harry Souttar undergoing Sheffield United medical after deal agreed
Leicester City defender Harry Souttar is set to undergo a medical at Sheffield United on Tuesday (6 August), sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old is putting the finishing touches on a loan move to Bramall Lane after agreeing terms.
Souttar has been deemed surplus to requirements at Leicester following their promotion to the Premier League.
He was part of the side which won the Championship title in the 2023-24 campaign but made just four appearances across all competitions.
The Australia international joined Leicester in January 2023 from Stoke City and is now set to return to the English second tier once again.
Souttar undergoing medical ahead of Sheffield United loan
Souttar has made 64 appearances in the Championship and is now set to join Chris Wilder’s side as they target an immediate return to the Premier League.
The Scotland-born defender has made just 16 appearances for Leicester, where his contract runs until June 2028.
He has been capped 30 times at senior level by Australia, scoring 11 goals.
