It is inevitable that there will be more departures from Everton this transfer window, according to Alan Hutton.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Spurs full back also claimed that the Toffees may not be done with their transfer business this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti bolstered his midfield options last week with the triple signing of Allan from Napoli, James Rodriguez from Real Madrid and Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure.

The Times reported that the club are now open to offers for for Theo Walcott, Bernard, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fabian Delph.

Everton are also looking to offload Mo Besic, Sandro Ramirez and Yannick Bolasie who all spent last season away from the club on loan.

Football Insider revealed last month that the the Toffees were willing to make a £20million loss on Bolasie who spent last season at Sporting Lisbon.

The 31-year-old joined Everton for an initial £25million from Crystal Palace four years ago and has one-year left on his contract.

Asked by Football Insider whether he expects exits from Goodison Park this transfer window, Hutton said: “I think there has to be.

“For me, it was one of the positions, I wouldn’t see they were struggling because they had players like Delph, but there was a lot of injuries, so that did hamper them.

“I still believe they’ve got great players in that squad but if you’re bringing in two, three players you must move a couple on, that’s just the nature of the beast. That’s just how it is.

“I would expect some departures but they might not even be finished in the transfer window yet, we’ll have to wait and see.”
